La Clutch Launch Party "The Wedding of Art & Fashion" | 3/10 La Clutch's premier event, sponsored heavily by actress Desiree Davis (see partners) was a fabulous "wedding-themed" event that officially married art to fashion! As guests entered Studio Clout, a contemporary art gallery in the Castleberry Hill Arts disrict, they were led to complimentary rich hors' duerves and beverages, and photographed by event photographers. The bridesmaid-esque models displayed the full collection in two sets, with thier final entrance (which was choreographed to mimic a coupled waltz) included mini tulle trains attached to all-white ensembles. There was even a funky and abstract "wedding cake" on display. A live band, two performing artists, and an actor who performed in two short skits showing how easy it was to get his wife "Clutched Up" all entertained upscale guests when they weren't enjoying their swag bags or complimentary on-site massages given by a professional masseuse.
The swag bags (which were recycled, spray painted trick-or-treat bags) included potted flowers or veggies in recycled drinking cups, complimentary Uptown Comedy Club tickets to see comedic legend, Paul Mooney, Kinky-Curly natural hair product samples, edible treats and more! The marriage was made official when the "designer-bride" made her final entrance in a fuschia couture gown with matching couture pumps designed specifically for the brand launch by Me Me Moore, Atlantan Bridal Designer.

General Conference Session 2010 | 6/10 The summer of 2010 brought hundreds of thousands of international visitors to the Georgia Dome for one week of workshops, concerts, tournaments and hundreds of vendors in an event that only occurs every four years and goes by the name General Conference. La Clutch™ was able to be one of many vendors, and was the only one with handbags and photo opps available! We met visitors from Russia, Germany, Canada, London, Africa, South America, Mexico and China during this culture-broadening and enlightening experience. In addition to handbags and photo opportunities, La Clutch™ offered American souvenirs, custom designed event t-shirts (we completely SOLD OUT) and light snacks.
HLFW Media Suite | 9/10 La Clutch™ was honored to be an accessory sponsor for Hautelanta Fashion Week 2010 in Atlanta, Ga. Among the VIP persons who received a sponsored authentic La Clutch™ handbag was hostess and former ANTM model, Eva Pigford. The hautest fashion events incorporated with HLFW took place in various locations over a week. Photos above are from the media suite held at the Glenn Hotel in downtown Atlanta where we met various designers from across the country and be interviewed for various media representatives and publications. The night ended with a roof-top afterparty that overlooked the Atlanta skyline. Big kudos to Layla K, CEO & Founder of HLFW!
Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes | 2009-2010 Above are random shots from model calls & auditions, our first custom clutch we mailed out, the making of a clutch, event flyers, planning and prepping. We really wanted to include the model with the waist-length hair but she drove down to our audition from Tennessee and unfortunately couldn't attend any further rehearsals (for choreography). You won't see these photos anywhere else but here!
